Terms of Service

What the service is

I offer online psychological counseling, executive-function coaching, and neurocognitive screening or assessment to adults, with a focus on international students and expats. Screeners may explore working memory, cognitive flexibility, sustained attention, and the interaction between cognitive, emotional, and motivational factors. Sessions take place by private video call. This is supportive psychological work. It is not psychiatric or emergency treatment, does not include diagnosis for legal disability purposes, and does not include prescriptions or medication advice.

Online support is not suitable for every clinical need. If online work becomes insufficient or unsafe for your needs, I will discuss this with you and recommend appropriate local support where possible.

Who can use it

• You must be 18 or older.
• Sessions run in English or Greek, whichever you prefer.
• Scheduling is based on Athens time (Europe/Athens); the site always shows your local time as well.
• Before your first paid session, I may ask for your current physical location or address and a suitable local emergency contact, so I can act responsibly if an urgent safety concern arises during an online session.
• If you are outside the countries where I can lawfully practise, I may need to decline or refer you elsewhere.

Booking and sessions

• The first discovery session is free and lasts 30 minutes.
• Regular individual sessions last 50 minutes.
• Your booking is confirmed by email, with the private video link included.
• A reminder with the same link is sent 24 hours before the session.
• Please join on time; the room opens ten minutes early.

Payment and invoices

Fees are agreed before your first paid session. Invoices are issued through your portal and are due as agreed. Sessions may be paused if invoices remain unpaid.

Confidentiality and its limits

What you share stays between us. There are narrow legal and ethical exceptions where I may have to break confidentiality: a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or someone else, concern about the safety of a child or vulnerable person, or a valid legal order. Where possible I will discuss it with you first.

Technology

• Sessions run over an encrypted video room with a unique, private link.
• You need a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space.
• Neither of us records sessions without the other's explicit consent.
• If a technical disruption lasts more than 15 minutes, the remaining appointment time will be rescheduled without an extra charge.

Your account and portal

• Your portal opens once you have booked your first session.
• Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Use the portal respectfully. Abusive content may end our working relationship.
• You can ask me to close your account and delete your data at any time.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms; the date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be mentioned to active clients. These terms are governed by Greek law, and any dispute falls to the courts of Greece, without affecting consumer rights you hold in your own country.
